Heidelberg University has numerous scientific collections. They play an important role in documenting the history of academia and science and in representing the university to the outside world. With their diverse holdings, the university collections enrich teaching, research and exhibitions.
Digital technologies and internet-based provision are central tools for realising the visibility and usability of scientific collections. Through the digitisation and scientific indexing of numerous objects from the Heidelberg collections and their presentation in heiCOLLECTIONS, part of these holdings can now be researched online.
The "Highlight Carousel" presents a small selection. Using the search mask, you can search the collections, filter your results thematically and call up detailed information and images of the objects.
